Studia Romanica et Anglica Zagrabiensia (SRAZ) is a scholarly journal published by the Department of Romance Languages, the Department of Italian and the Department of English of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Zagreb. It was founded in 1956 by the Italian Studies scholar Mirko Deanović. The journal was initially called Studia Romanica (1956), then changed to Studia Romanica Zagrabiensia (1957) and has been published under its current name since 1958.

Studia Romanica et Anglica Zagrabiensia is published annually.

In addition to the printed edition, there is also an Open Access Digital edition. Journal users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles published in the journal without seeking prior permission from the publisher or author.

This journal does not charge any article processing charges or submission fees. The journal doesn’t have advertising or direct marketing.

The editors follow The Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing.

Aims and scope
Studia Romanica et Anglica Zagrabiensia publishes scholarly articles and reviews from fields of linguistics and literary studies of Romance languages and English. Languages of publication are English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Romanian. The journal will not consider for publication multiple submissions or redundant publications.

All the submitted papers are peer revieved (double blind peer review).

The journal Studia Romanica et Anglica Zagrabiensia retains copyright and publishing rights for all published contributions. The author(s) retains the right to republish the contribution in another publication of which they are the author, eg. as a chapter in their own book.

In the event the journal is no longer published the contetnt will be backuped and the access preserved on the site of the Digital edition.
